Messing around with new colouring techniques...
I know i buggered up the water, I'm bad at water effects...
And she's meant to be a sort of fairy/spirit thing, and yes she's leaning on the water and is knee deep in the muck.

Daily DeviationReluctant Awakening by ~malta is a truly wonderful little piece, full of emotion. From the subdued background colors to the sad expression on the poor little faerie's face, you can almost feel the sadness. hey, i think it looks cool. the water effect is pretty good. and you can tell that the knees are in the muck. you just have to look closely.

Hihi igen :p (Lick) . Very purdy. How long do these take you??? God, I don't ahve that patience. I like her expression and the ethereal wings as well as the dotty tree-edges. I agree with you on the water. Maybe she'd have more of a reflection and you wouldn't see her legs as well. Then again, I'm terrible at water, too, what can I say >.
