--The story bit--
Once in the desert lived a little Fennec fox, called Itchuko. He was a bit of a trickster, and far more clever than the average fennec fox. His family and friends saw him as somewhat of an outcast, and he was not spoken much to. But Itchuko didnt care. He didn't want to be a fennec after all, his deepest wish was to be a bird. He'd sit outside his burrow for hours as the sun set over the dunes, and stare up at the birds who flew high up in the heavens. Every night he'de dream about having his own wings, and flying.

One day he discorvered a human camp, and saw them work with metals to form bizzare shapes. This gave him an idea. Each night he'de sneak into their camp, and from scraps of metal he'de scavenge, he started crafting himself a pair of wings.
Finally they were completed. Impatiently he put them on, and raced over the edge of a cayon, hope blazing in his little heart. The warm updrafts carried him for a few meter, like a glider. But the rough metal was too heavy, and dragged the little fennec down into the bottom of the canyon.

The desert Gods watched all this, and took pity on the little soul. The Wind God, who also watched, lifted the small lifeless body from the stone floor, and blew life into it once more. From that day Itchuko became one of the lesser Gods, his wings no longer of rough metal, but of pure gold, light as a feather, and he was the Desert Wind God. His dream of flying was finally real.
Still michievous even as a god, he is the one who shifts the winds into images, known as mirages, which mislead and confuse weary desert travellers.

His four tails represent the four desert winds:
The first, Kidro- the North wind, the 'Sun wind' bringer of the cloudless, hot days in the desert.
The second, Paldri- the West wind, the 'Ice wind' bringer of the cold desert nights.
The third, Senir- the East wind, the 'mad wind' bringer of the sandstorms and desert tornadoes.
And fourth, Soshar- the South wind, the 'life wind' bringer of the very rare thunderstorms which give new life to the desert.
